Biomechatronics, Assistive Devices, Gait Engineering, and Rehabilitation Laboratory

Welcome to new graduate students Sukritta Suksawang and Arrington Polman

This January, the BADGER Lab welcomed two new graduate students in January 2026.

Sukritta (Nam) Suksawang joins as a Biomedical Engineering Ph.D. student, following an M.S. at the University of Pittsburgh and time working with Thailand’s National Science and Technology Development Agency. Nam will begin by working on musculoskeletal modeling projects, and has a long-term interest in aging, mobility, and sensors.

Arrington Polman joins as an M.S. student in Mechanical Engineering, following his B.S. in UW Biomedical Engineering and time working in a neuroscience lab at Temple University. He will work on human motor control experiments using our custom robots NOTTABIKE and NAMELESS.

Welcome, Nam and Arrington!
