In the BADGER Lab, Heidi is studying how different prosthetic feet and different orthotic solutions affect real-world movement.
Prior to joining the BADGER Lab, Heidi has had internships at the Ford Motor Company, Cummins Inc. and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. She has also previously conducted research at UTEP’s W. M. Keck Center for 3D Innovation and McGill University’s Alternate Fuels Laboratory.
In her free time, Heidi likes playing boardgames, knitting and practicing photography. She is also interested in analog photography and regularly transforms her bathroom into a darkroom to develop 35mm film.
